Beyond Despicable, a FEDERAL OFFENSE!!!
The Rest up now at POLITICHICKS!
Looks like someone read Ohole my article as his bedtime story last night...hope it gave him nightmares of the CITIZENS' ARREST about to come.
One question, though: why would Pres Tantrum send out a letter (illegally) to all furloughed workers if he knew it was going to be illegal for them to read it? What would be the point of doing it immediately, on October 1st, if they wouldn't be able to read it until they got back to work? How is it possible a "lawyer" would do so many irrational and against-law actions? If not ignorance (unacceptable!) then that leaves only criminal, utter lawlessness...AGAIN!
Tick Tock, you Gadianton Robber...you feel that?

I always read anything sent by military men, active or otherwise. But this time I had another reason that immediately woke me up. The subject line, in all caps, which read:
Fwd: POTUS MESSAGE REGARDING THE SHUTDOWN (UNCLASSIFIED)
First my eyes narrowed with curiosity and more than a little confusion. Why was the President writing to Utah Guardsmen about the shutdown? It all became crystal, and ominous, within the forward message sent by Dave:
In addition to my part time position in the Utah Guard, I’m a full time civilian employee of DoD and am among those who have been furloughed this week. I went into work anyway this morning to check on some things and saw this email from the President (below). I was stunned. I have been doing this for a long time and have never seen our communication system usurped like this. I filed a formal complaint with the IG (also below), but do not expect anything to come of that. I feel compelled to do more. There are some things I can’t do because they would involve misusing official networks and equipment, which is what the President did only I wouldn’t get away with it like he probably will. I think it could do some good if a group of us furloughed employees could make it known that we are not buying it. That would really undermine the narrative that those guys are trying to sell. I don’t have a Facebook page, a twitter account, or a blog and have never wished that I did. I can’t stand to just sit still for this. That’s the story. Any thoughts?

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!
This just in: Feds have "suddenly" decided to ban all furloughed workers from using their emails during shutdown, labeling it a "criminal offense." (You know, like what Pres. Ohole did in using Federal Communications for propaganda and political campaigning back on October 1st, as per above article?) Now why would those Politically Castrated Eunuchs do that, hmmm...?
Read for yourself at THE WEEKLY STANDARD:
A notice posted on the website of the Small Business Administration (SBA) warns furloughed employees that it is a "criminal offense" to use federal resources during the furlough period, including accessing government email accounts. Although the notice is directed to SBA employees, presumably the directive is applicable to furloughed employees of all government agencies. The full notice reads as follows:
Please be advised, during the furlough period, non-excepted employees will no longer be permitted to utilize SBA email or other federal resources. Please know that use of federal resources while on furlough status is prohibited by law and is considered a criminal offense. Employees must NOT represent the agency in any formal or informal capacity.
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a document on October 4, 2013, entitled "Guidance for Shutdown Furloughs" for all government employees. The guidance does not specifically address the email issue, and makes no mention of "criminal offenses." The closest the document comes to addressing the issue appears under a section entitled "Working during Furlough" (page 3):
1. May an employee volunteer to do his or her job on a nonpay basis during a shutdown furlough?
A. No. Unless otherwise authorized by law, an agency may not accept the voluntary services of an employee. (See 31 U.S.C. 1342.) [Link added]
