Please say a prayer for my friend, Keith Allen Nations tonight. I wrote
an article about this amazing man several years ago. He served in both
Iraq and Afghanistan, three purple hearts and a silver star. He was
wounded so severely that he was evacked home. His son wanted
to be a "lifer" like dad, and joined up, going to Afghanistan a few
months ago. His dad emailed me yesterday...his son was killed in
Afghanistan, and he wanted to set up a time to tell me his son's story, a
part II to the story I did on him. His son will be buried in
Arlington, with his dad's purple hearts and silver star.
He was 22.
